Wedgwood black basalt pottery figure of a Heron, modelled by Ernest William Light, c. 1913. The well modelled heron, with finely delineated plumage, and having original glass eyes, perched upon pierced rockwork.
Impressed upper case ‘WEDGWOOD’ to the reverse.
Height – 19.5 cm, 7 5/8”.
Width – 8.5 cm, 3 3/8”.
Depth – 9.7 cm, 3 3/4”.
Condition – Excellent. No damage. No restoration.
