Rare Wedgwood ‘Bone China’ porcelain sucrier and cover, c. 1810. The oval shaped sucrier, having twin handles, and decorated with flowering plants, in Imari style. The cover similarly decorated, and having. Stylised floral finial, heightened in gilt.
Printed iron red ‘WEDGWOOD’ mark to both the sucrier, and the cover.
The manufacture of bone china porcelain at Wedgwood was a short lived project, not revisited until the late 19th Century.
