Wedgwood Fairyland Lustre vase, c. 1925. The Daisy Makeig-Jones designed conical shaped vase, decorated with the ‘Butterfly Women’ pattern, of fairies sat amongst flowering trees, on a black lustrous ground. Firebolgs amongst trees adorn the interior of the vase, beneath a gilt rim.
The vase set upon a stepped circular footrim, decorated in a gilt caillouté pattern.

Printed factory marks, pattern number ‘Z4968’, and incised ‘2810’, to the base.

Height – 20 cm, 7 7/8”.

Diameter – 9.8 cm, 3 7/8”.

Condition: Excellent. No damage. No restoration.
