Wedgwood pottery vase, Aesthetic Movement, c. 1880. Hand painted in Japanese taste, with a large Kingfisher perched amongst lilies on a riverbank.
The bottom third of the vase, with a continuous chequered motif.
Impressed and printed factory marks to the base.
Height – 25.3 cm, 10”.
Diameter – 18.5 cm, 7 5/8”.
Condition – Some wear to the gilt rim. No damage. No restoration.
