Worcester porcelain plate ‘Brocade’ pattern, c. 1770.
A fine Worcester porcelain dessert plate, c. 1770. Beautifully painted in the Japanese style, with the ‘Brocade’ pattern, with panels of textile motifs with stylised flower heads, on diaper and green grounds, around a central chrysanthemum Mon. All upon a ground painted with dragons, and flowering prunus.
Crescent mark in gold to the reverse.
Gold Crescent marks were reserved for the factories highest quality wears.

Condition: Typical minor wear to the gilding.
