A rare Yorkshire pottery Prattware stirrup cup, c. 1830. Amusingly modelled as the heads of ‘Vicar and Moses’; the Vicar with a smile, and Moses, with a grimace, and wearing a tricorn hat.
The details heightened in Pratt colours, over a pearlware glaze.
Height – 11 cm, 4 3/8”.
Width – 7 cm, 2 3/4”.
Depth – 11 cm, 4 3/8”.
Condition – Slight wear to the enamels.
